Do Nothing

Sometimes we all need to take a 'time out' to recharge our batteries and refocus. It can be 5 mins, a whole day, or a week vacation. Whatever it is, taking time to do nothing is great for the mind and soul. So if you're feeling overwhelmed or stressed, just take a breather. Everything will seem a little better once you do.

SALT 'n peppa

Angelina Jolie is AWESOME is her newest blockbuster...SALT. I've been looking forward to seeing this movie and I was not disappointed at all. I've always enjoyed Jolie in movies but this one takes her to a whole new level. She is a total BAD ASS in this one.

The movie has a great plot...definitely kept me guessing...and I really want to see it again. I can't imagine any other actress playing a 'suspected' Russian spy like Jolie. Added bonus...girls and guys will love this movie. Great solution for date night!

Get Outta Town!

Last Friday, I was lucky enough to take some time and get out of the city to spend a few hours in the country. It was sooo relaxing! Just sitting by a lake, listening to the wind and nature, watching the sunset. AMAZING!!! Sometimes I forget to slow down during the craziness of everyday life and just appreciate the little things. It's so wonderful how a few hours outside on a summer evening can renew your spirit.

Cha Cha Cha Cha CHANGES

I haven't been able to post for a few days because I've been MOVING!!! Yup, I'm all moved into a new place with Brock. New house, new town, and hopefully soon a new job. *Keep your fingers crossed*


Changes can be exciting, scary, and sometimes hard to handle but its all about embracing the new and remembering that life is always changing. If we didn't evolve and change, life would lose its excitement!


So bring on the change! Bring on the adventure!!

Summer Trend - Barbie Lips

This is a summer trend that I think is sooo fun and cute! Its a little funky and maybe too 'out there' for some but I think its really fresh and looks great on all skin tones. From Bubblegum to Hot Fuschia, I am loving the change from bright red lips to PINK!

 

I love how these are two totally different shades of pink but both look so beautiful and summery! Plus they both have really matte lipstick on so it doesn't look overly glossy and cartoon-ish.

And Rihanna always takes the coolest fashion and makeup risks and looks amazing!! I'm also loving her eyeliner with that touch of blue. Gorgeous!
